Hello! I’m pleased you’re here in my corner of the digital world.

I’ve spent many hours trying to figure out how to describe the work I do. It’s a challenge because of the cross-cultural and multi-dimensional aspects of my interests. In a nutshell, I am a photographer, researcher, and author. Besides my photographic work showcased here on my website, I have many years of experience working with rural community development in the United States and Canada. That work has included cultural heritage research and interpretation in exhibits, books, education, program development, and rural education evaluation. My current focus has been the repatriation of my photographs to their source.
