Historical Interpretation

Interpreting history can take many forms, but Candace’s work has focused on the inclusion of cultural perspectives. She is also committed to the repatriation of the images to the source communities she has documented over many years. Her publication TautukKonik/Looking Back, made in collaboration with Inuit authors, is a good example of her most recent repatriation project.
